Qbit instruments, both fixed or portable, can be operated using a windows based software enabling the real-time upload of measurements on the Qbit web-server or the transmission of data (with FTP protocol) to a user selected server. This may be done automatically or at user request whenever the instruments has an internet-connection available (either WiFi or mobile).
In such a way the user is enabled to control and download data collected in the measuring site from any other place in the world. The web-server application enables the user to make the data public, if desired, and geo-localized on our web-site measurements map. In this way they can contribute to a data sharing procedure in a “participated science” approach.
