E-series sensors are developed for gas detection in closed environments or near pollutant sources. They are designed for continuous detection of long duration for this reason they must ensure good stability over time. Measurement constancy is achieved by differential detection between an R.I. channel tuned to the absorption of the gas under test and a reference R.I. channel.

Qbit has experimented with this configuration in the detection of a large number of gases frequently monitored in environmental analysis, for example: CO, CO2, CH4, C2H6, C3H8, C4H10, C2H4O, C2H2 , C2H4 , SF6 , NH3 , SO2 , NO, NO2 . Other gases can be revealed at the customer’s request, just as other measuring ranges can be arranged upon request.
